Ratschings Mountain Trails
A run through magical nature

Ratschings Mountain Trails

Sunday, 19.06.2022

It has long been no secret that the sport of running is enjoying ever-increasing popularity worldwide. While at the beginning of the 2000s it was mainly city marathons that captivated the athletes, the urban ambience has recently been replaced by the open countryside. No wonder, then, that trail runs are currently very popular and are springing up like mushrooms around the globe.
For the second time, the Ratschings Mountain Trail will take place next summer, on Sunday 19 June 2022 to be precise, with an exciting new challenge: the Sky Trail!

First edition 2021 was a complete success
The first edition of the Ratschings Mountain Trail in summer 2021 was a great success. In optimal running weather with pleasant temperatures, local hero Armin Larch from Mareit and Michaela Schmeer from Germany prevailed on the 17.7 kilometre course with 950 metres of altitude. Around 300 participants did not want to miss the premiere of the Wipptal sporting event. Outstanding winners, overjoyed participants and very satisfied organisers from ASV Ratschings were pleased with the smooth running of the trail event.
