Your ideal mountain clothing

  • Breathable clothing for all weather conditions
  • Non-slip hiking boots with treaded soles
  • Suitable hiking socks
  • Hiking pants or shorts
  • Sunglasses
  • Softshell or fleece jacket
  • Waterproof rain gear
  • Change of clothes

What belongs in your backpack

  • Provisions (e.g. sandwich, fruit, muesli bars, chocolate)
  • Plenty of water or drinks
  • First aid kit including blister plasters
  • Sunscreen and a hat or cap
  • Gloves (depending on the weather)
  • Mobile phone
  • ID and some cash
  • Useful items like trekking poles or a camera
  • And don’t forget: a small bag for your trash
