Panorama platform "Pfeifer Huisele gorge"

The Pfeifer Huisile Gorge offers a fabulous view of the beauty of two imposing waterfalls. From the 12m long viewing platform, you can look down an impressive 85 metres into the depth. The gorge through which the Ratschinger Bach descends into the valley via gushing waterfalls is called Pfeifer Huisile, a sorcerer who was born and raised here in the hamlet of Flading around 1625.

From the motorway exit A22 in Sterzing/Vipiteno direction west to Stange/Stanghe and Ratschings/Racines. In Stange turn left into the Ratschingstal valley and follow the road to Flading/Vallettina at the end of the valley.

Hike from Jaufensteg along the Pfeifer Huisele path to Flading. Along the way, several information signs in text and pictures inform about the life of the Pfeifer Huisile.
