This year, we are once again celebrating our traditional Devil’s Day – and this time at two locations: Gasteig and Mareit!
Devil’s Day in Gasteig
Since 2013, the Saint Nicholas & Devils Association Gasteig has been passionately preserving the local tradition. Every year on
December 5th, they, together with Saint Nicholas and their devils, visit the villages of Gasteig and Stange/Stanghe, bringing joy to children and adults alike. Not only do they create a festive atmosphere, but they also keep this old custom alive.
Program:
•
09:30 – Small refreshment with drinks at the Gasteig association house
•
19:30 – Parade through Gasteig with Saint Nicholas and the devils
•
Afterwards – Aftershow party at “Platzl”
With great dedication and joy, they aim to preserve and pass on this special part of their culture, ensuring that the tradition of Saint Nicholas and the Tuifln remains a lasting part of the community.
