Experience Nature Step by Step

The approximately 250-metre-long Barefoot Trail in Innerratschings invites visitors to experience nature with all their senses. A variety of natural surfaces, including pine cones, wood, stone, gravel, sand and wood chips, make every step a unique experience for children and adults alike.

Kneipp for Health & Well-being
At the end of the trail, the Kneipp facility provides the perfect place to cool down, relax and recharge. It is also an ideal way to refresh tired legs after a hike in the surrounding mountains.

Motor Skills Park – Play & Movement

Right next to the Barefoot Trail and the Kneipp facility, the newly built Motor Skills Park was created as part of an Interreg project. Its varied stations promote balance, coordination and agility while providing fun challenges for children, teenagers and adults.

Getting There

 

By Car
A paid parking area is available at the Pulvererhof (daily rate: €5.00). Payment can be made by cash or card. Please note that the parking machine does not give change. From the car park, it is about a 5-minute walk to the start of the Barefoot Trail.

By Public Transport
Bus line 319 (Sterzing – Ratschings) runs to the "Larch” bus stop. From there, the starting point of the Barefoot Trail can be reached in around 25 minutes on foot along the level Ratschings Valley Trail, also known as the Pfeifer-Huisile Trail.
