This demanding route runs along the sunny slope of the Rosskopf ridge at an altitude from 1900 to 2300 meters above the Ridnauntal, with a descent into the valley end. Recommended only in sure good weather. From the mountain station of the Rosskopf cable car (1850 m) on wide path no. 23 southwestwards, gently ascending, around the ridge jutting out to the south, above the Kuhalm (1897 m; managed) to the Ochsenalm (1907 m, managed). The high path, now no. 23, leads under the Telfer Weissen to the mountain basin of the Seeberalm (open on weekends) with the Seebersee (2110 m). Passing under the southern slopes of the Wetterspitze, you reach the managed Prischeralm (2160 m). The descent runs steeply down on path no. 27 to the hamlet Gesennen in Maiern. From there you can return by public bus to Sterzing. Mountain experience, sure-footedness, and fitness are required!
