Nature trail Forest-Water Castle Wolfsthurn

The path begins at the foot of the castle hill opposite the parish church of Mareit, leads northwards into pristine forest in the area of the Mareiter stream and ends west of the castle, at the existing castle pond. Along this route, various natural history "stations" have been set up to guide visitors through nature. From the stream bank to the gravel bank, forest and meadow, water and mossy ground, from the ant hill to small ponds, from ponds to the forest telephone and a pavilion with different wood types, there are various worlds of experience. You can come into close contact with nature on soft mossy ground! You can literally experience nature with all your senses!
