Ratschings Alm Trail

The Ratschings Alm trail starts at the Jaufenstraße and leads through beautiful landscapes past seven alpine meadows. The first you reach after about half an hour's walk is the Kalcheralm; from there, you continue on the same path to the Rinneralm and past the mountain station, upwards to the Wasserfalleralm. Along the existing hiking path, it continues to the Saxnerhütte. The next alpine meadows are the Outer and Inner Wumblsalm. The trail finally ends at the Klammalm at 1925 m, from where you take the marked trail No. 12 down to Flading. The Alm trail is easy to manage as a day route and also suitable for families.

It is also possible to ascend or descend with the Ratschings-Jaufen cable car – from the mountain station, you can also hike the Alm trail.
