Starting from Ried, follow forest road No. 29 for about 2 hours up to the Zunderspitz hut (not managed – 1950 m). After a further half-hour walk, you reach the Upper Gewingesalm (managed - 2050 m). From the Upper Gewingesalm continue on a marked path in another 1.5-hour walk to the Zunderspitze. The view of the glaciers and the surrounding valleys is worth every effort! The return can be made either by the ascent route or by following path No. 29A towards Martalm (about 45 minutes). From here, follow the forest road down to the valley.
