At the age of 18, Stefan made the decision to leave competitive sport as a biathlete behind him. Training as a mountain and ski guide then became his next mission in life. At the age of 26, he fulfilled this dream and has been able to call himself a state-certified mountain and ski guide ever since, just like his father.
