If you travel by train and bus, your holiday begins stress-free – no traffic, no parking hassle, no rush. At the same time, you're travelling sustainably, in harmony with nature and the environment.

The nearby town of Sterzing/Vipiteno, just 10 km from Ratschings/Racines, has the closest train station with regular regional connections.

For a comfortable journey from within Italy or abroad, it’s best to transfer in Bozen/Bolzano, where many IC and EC trains stop. From Sterzing/Vipiteno station, you can easily continue your trip by regular public buses that take you directly to the Ratschings, Ridnaun or Jaufental valleys. Buses typically run hourly, depending on the destination.

Car-free – and connected across all valleys

In Ratschings/Racines and the surrounding area, you can get around easily even without your own car. Regularly running public buses take you directly and comfortably to the Ratschings, Ridnaun and Jaufental valleys. Depending on the destination, buses usually run every hour – ideal for excursions, hikes, or simply to explore the region in a relaxed way.
