Starting from the Mining Museum in Maiern, at the head of the Ridnauntal valley, the route initially follows a paved road. It then continues along trail no. 28, which leads to the Stadlalm mountain hut on a gravel track.
Note: the route follows gravel tracks and short sections of paved road, entirely avoiding forest trails. It is therefore well suited to mountain bikes and pushchairs.
The opening hours of mountain and alpine huts can be found here.
