Starting from the Mining Museum in Maiern, at the head of the Ridnauntalvalley, cross the large bridge and follow trail no. 8B. At the junction, turn right onto trail no. 8, which soon joins trail no. 27 and leads directly to the Prischeralm mountain hut.

Description to arrive at destination
From Sterzing, continue towards the Ridnauntal valley as far as Maiern, at the very end of the valley. The Mining Museum, which marks the starting point of the hike, is located here.

Parking is available at the Mining Museum in Maiern, at the end of the Ridnauntal valley, which marks the starting point of the hike.
Public transport
The starting point can be reached by
bus line 312 (Sterzing/Vipiteno – Ridnaun/Val Ridanna). Get off at the
