This circular walk follows both banks of the Mareiter Bach stream and can be started from Gasteig, Stange or Mareit. Starting from Gasteig, the route passes through the village of Stange and continues to Mareit before returning to the starting point. Those beginning in Mareit follow the route in the opposite direction. Starting from the intermediate point in Stange, the circular walk can be completed in either direction.
Description to arrive at destination
- Start from Gasteig: arriving from Sterzing, follow the signs to the clubhouse(Vereinshaus) in Gasteig.
- Start from Stange: arriving from Sterzing, follow the signs to the sports area in Stange.
- Start from Mareit: arriving from Sterzing, continue past Gasteig and Stange, following the signs to Mareit. The starting point is the car park near the “Mareit” bus stop.
Parking
- In Gasteig: parking is available at the clubhouse.
- In Stange: parking is available at the sports area.
- In Mareit: parking is available near the“Mareit” bus stop.
