From Maiern to the Obere Gewingesalm mountain hut on gravel tracks

The hike starts at the Bergl farmsteads in the Ridnauntal valley. From here, follow trail no. 29B and then trail no. 22 along a gravel track. After a short while, the trail branches off to the left and continues to the Untere Gewingesalm mountain hut. Subsequently, trail no. 29 leads to the Obere Gewingesalm mountain hut.

Note: The route follows gravel tracks throughout and does not include any forest trails. It is therefore well suited to mountain bikes.

The opening hours of mountain and alpine huts can be found here.
