Take the Ratschings-Jaufen cable car up to the mountain station at approx. 1,800 m. From here, follow the Ratschings Alpine Pasture Trail (Ratschinger Almenweg) to the Rinneralm mountain hut. Continue on trails no. 13B and no. 12 to the Rinner Sattel saddle. The route then continues across the Fleckner summit and the Glaitner Hochjoch summit, passes the Schlotterjoch saddle before and finally reaches the summit of Kleine Kreuzspitze.
Alternatively, the descent can be made via the Klammalm mountain hut and the locality of Flading.

Description to arrive at destination
From Sterzing, continue towards the Ratschingstal valley until reaching the valley station of the Ratschings-Jaufen cable car in the hamlet of Bichl.
Parking
Parking is available at the valley station of the Ratschings-Jaufen cable car, both above ground and in the underground car park.
Public transport
The starting point can be reached by bus line 319 (Sterzing/Vipiteno – Ratschings/Racines). Get off at the “Innerratschings, Bichl/Racines di Dentro, Via Colle” stop. Further information on timetables and connections is available at www.suedtirolmobil.info/en.
