Starting at the head of the Ratschingstal valley in Flading, the wide but steep gravel path no. 12 leads for around 500 metres to the Pfeifer-Huisile Gorge. Here, a 12-metre-long viewing platform offers an impressive view 85 metres down into the gorge. The platform also marks the end of the Pfeifer-Huisile Trail.
Description to arrive at destination
From Sterzing, continue towards the head of the Ratschingstal valley until reaching St. Mary’s Chapel in the hamlet of Flading.

Parking is available near St. Mary’s Chapel in Flading.
Public transport
The starting point cannot be reached directly by public transport. It is possible to travel as far as the “Larch” stop on bus line 319 (Sterzing/Vipiteno – Ratschings/Racines) and continue on foot to the starting point (approx. 45 min., 130 metres of elevation gain).
