Starting from the “Römerkehre” hairpin bend on the Jaufenpass mountain pass, trail no. 13B leads to the Rinner Sattel saddle and then, along trail no. 14, to the viewing platform, from where the surrounding peaks can be admired. The summits are labelled by name on the platform, helping visitors identify and orient themselves within the Alpine landscape.
Description to arrive at destination
From Sterzing, follow the road towards Gasteig and continue to the Jaufenpass. The starting point of the hike is located at the first hairpin bend (“Römerkehre”) immediately beyond the pass.
Parking
Parking is available at the “Römerkehre” hairpin bend.
Public transport
The starting point can be reached by bus line 317 (Sterzing/Vipiteno – Jaufenpass/Passo Giovo – St. Leonhard/S. Leonardo). Get off at the “Römerkehre” stop.
