Starting from the Chapel of Our Lady of the Roses at the end of the Ratschingstal valley, the route initially follows trail no. 12 along a gravel track. After passing the Pfeifer-Huisele gorge, turn right onto a forest path. The trail then ascends gradually to the Klammalm mountain hut.

Description to arrive at destination
From Sterzing, continue towards the head of the Ratschingstal valley until reaching St. Mary’s Chapel in the hamlet of Flading.

Public transport
The starting point cannot be reached directly by public transport. It is possible to travel as far as the“Larch” stop on bus line 319 (Sterzing/Vipiteno – Ratschings/Racines) and continue on foot to the starting point (approx. 45 min., 130 metres of elevation gain).
