Take the Ratschings-Jaufen cable car up to the mountain station at approx. 1,800 m. From here, the route initially follows trail no. 13B towards the Rinneralm mountainhut before ascending to the Rinner Sattel saddle. The route then continues along trail no. 12 to just below the Fasnachter summit. From here, it follows trail no. 19A (recommended for experienced hikers only), to the Saxenle peak. The return route runs along trail no. 19A to the Saxnerhütte alpine hut and then back to the cable car mountain station. As an alternative, this circular route can also be completed in the opposite direction.

Description to arrive at destination
From Sterzing, continue towards the Ratschingstal valley until reaching the valley station of the Ratschings-Jaufen cable car in the hamlet of Bichl.
Parking
Parking is available at the valley station of the Ratschings-Jaufen cable car, both above ground and in the underground car park.
Public transport
The starting point can be reached by bus line 319 (Sterzing/Vipiteno – Ratschings/Racines). Get off at the “Innerratschings, Bichl/Racines di Dentro, Via Colle” stop. Further information on timetables and connections is available at www.suedtirolmobil.info/en.
