Starting from the Mining Museum in Maiern, at the end of the Ridnauntalvalley, cross the large bridge and continue on trail no. 8B. At the junction, take trail no. 8 on the right, which later joins trail no. 27 towards the Prischeralm mountain hut and the Maurerscharte gap. From there, follow trail no. 34 to the summit of Wetterspitze.

Description to arrive at destination
From Sterzing, continue towards the Ridnauntal valley as far as Maiern, at the very end of the valley. The Mining Museum, which marks the starting point of the hike, is located here.

Parking is available at the Mining Museum in Maiern, at the end of the Ridnauntal valley, which marks the starting point of the hike.
Public transport
The starting point can be reached by bus line 312 (Sterzing/Vipiteno – Ridnaun/Val Ridanna). Get off at the final stop, “Bergbaumuseum/Museo delle Miniere”, located directly at the starting point of the hike.
