This ridge hike begins at the Jaufenpass and follows trail no. 12 to the Rinner Sattel saddle. The trail then continues across the Fleckner summit and Glaitner Hochjoch to the Schlotterjoch saddle, before finally reaching the summit of Kleine Kreuzspitze.
Alternatively, the descent can be made via the Klammalm mountain hut and the locality of Flading.

Description to arrive at destination
From Sterzing, follow the road to Gasteig, then continue towards the Jaufenpass as far as the mountain station of the Jaufenlift cable car (operating in winter only).

Parking is available at the mountain station of the Jaufenlift cable car (operating in winter only).
Public transport
The starting point can be reached by bus line 317 (Sterzing/Vipiteno – Jaufenpass/Passo Giovo – St. Leonhard/S. Leonardoo). Get off at the “Ratschings, Jaufenlift”.
