The hike begins at the Pulvererhof farm in the Ratschingstal valley and follows the Ratschings Valley Trail (Ratschinger Talweg) towards the head of the valley until reaching Flading, located at the very end of the valley. Along the way, hikers pass the Ibex via ferrata, the barefoot sensory trail with its Kneipp path, and the motor skills park.
Description to arrive at destination
From Sterzing, follow the signs towards the Ratschingstal valley. After passing Hotel Larchhof, proceed towards Flading and, after approx. 1 km, turn right onto the road leading to the Pulvererhof farm.

Parking is available at the Pulvererhof farm.
Public transport
The starting point
cannot be reached directly by public transport. It is possible to travel as far as the
“Larch” stop on
bus line 319 (Sterzing/Vipiteno – Ratschings/Racines) and continue on foot to the starting point at the Pulvererhof farm (approx. 20 min., 30 metres of elevation gain). Further information on timetables and connections is available at
