The hike starts at the fire station in Obertelfes. Follow trail no. 5 towards the Telfes mountain huts. After crossing the bridge, the route ascends steeply for a short section before descending to the left towards Untertelfes. The trail crosses a gravel track and continues to a clearing in the forest before reaching the Jaufnerhof farm. Following the edge of the forest, trail no. 4 leads back to Obertelfes.

Public transport
