Winter hike from the Mining Museum to the Stadlalm mountain hut

From the head of the Ridnauntal Valley (1,400 m), follow the signs for “Stadlalm” and trail marker no. 28. First, the wide and cleared path leads through the grounds of the former ore processing plant, then through forested slopes in the lower Lazzacher Valley until reaching a clearing. At the junction before the bridge, turn right and follow the wide path (28A) for a short distance up the valley to the Stadlalm alpine hut (approx. 1,620 m).
The return is along the same route – either on foot or by toboggan.
