The hike begins in Jaufensteg, at the entrance to the Ratschingstal valley. From here, continue towards the head of the valley, passing through the hamlet of Bichl and onwards to Flading, where the valley ends. Along the route, several information panels recount the legend of the sorcerer Pfeifer Huisele. It is also possible to visit the Pfeifer-Huisele gorge at the end of the trail. The return journey can be made along the same route as the outward journey, or by bus from Hotel Larchhof. Further information on timetables and connections is available at www.suedtirolmobil.info/en
Description to arrive at destination
From Sterzing, follow the signs towards the Ratschingstal valley. The starting point is located in Jaufensteg, at the entrance to the valley.
Parking
There is no parking available at the starting point. Travelling by public bus is recommended.
Public transport
