Starting from Flading, at the head of the Ratschingstal valley, trail no. 12 ascends along the Pfeifer Huisele gorge up to the Klammalm mountainhut. From here, continue along trail no. 12B to the summit of Kleine Kreuzspitze, where a magnificent view opens over the Übelsee lake.

Description to arrive at destination
From Sterzing, continue towards the head of the Ratschingstalvalley until reaching St. Mary’s Chapel in the hamlet of Flading.

Public transport
The starting point cannot be reached directly by public transport. It is possible to travel as far as the “Larch” stop on bus line 319 (Sterzing/Vipiteno – Ratschings/Racines) and continue on foot to Flading (approx. 45 min., 130 metres of elevation gain).
