From the large car park near the Kalcheralm mountain hut on the Jaufenpass road, follow trail no. 19B along a level gravel track to the Kalcheralm mountain hut.
Note: the route follows gravel tracks and short sections of paved road, entirely avoiding forest trails. It is therefore well suited to mountain bikes and pushchairs.

Description to arrive at destination
From Sterzing, follow the road to Gasteig and continue towards the Jaufenpass. Approximately 3.5 km before the mountain pass, the Kalcheralm mountain hut car park is located on the right-hand side.
Parking
Parking is available at the car park of the Kalcheralm car park.
Public transport
The starting point can be reached by bus line 317 (Sterzing/Vipiteno – Jaufenpass/Passo Giovo – St. Leonhard/S. Leonardo). Get off at the “Kalcheralm/Alpe di Calice” stop.
