Summer tandem flights Ridnauntal Valley

In summer, you can enjoy tandem flights in the Ridnauntal Valley with experienced pilots – an unforgettable adventure in the stunning mountain landscape of the South Tyrolean Alps. No prior experience is required to enjoy the scenery from a bird’s-eye view.

Depending on the weather conditions, the flight takes off from either the Gewingesalm or the Prischeralm alpine huts. The transfer to the starting point is conveniently done together with the pilot in a jeep before returning back to the valley.

From Sterzing, drive into the Ridnauntal Valley to the valley end at Maiern, where the Mining Museum is located. From the parking lot, follow the road about 10 minutes downhill to Hotel Schneeberg. The meeting point is on the opposite side of the street. Here’s the route on Google Maps.
