This is followed by a climb up to Gasse and the Joggelehof farm, where you do a loop and then start on your way back. The natural toboggan run "Tonnerboden" is located in the quietest of our three valleys, the Jaufental. Starting point is in Obertal. After a hike of about 10-15 minutes, the tobogganing can begin. A special tip is also the departure at night, as the toboggan run is illuminated daily.
The sled track at the Ratschings-Jaufen ski center is always in perfect condition for the joy of young and old alike! And what's nice about it is that tha cableway will take you right to the starting point! The sledging trail then starts immediately below the mountain station and proceeds right down to the valley (5 km).
Sledges can be hired at the valley station.
The starting point for the ascent is the village of Telfes. From Obertelfes you can reach the sunny situated pasture Freundalm, which is open all year round, in approx. 1.5 hours on the tracked toboggan run. After a pleasant rest in the mountain hut, you can enjoy a fun downhill run with the toboggan, which can also be hired directly at the Freundalm. TIP: The toboggan run is illuminated in the evening!
