Animals
With a bit of luck, you might spot the lively white-throated dipper along the stream – a small bird darting just above the water. The grey wagtail, easily recognized by its constant tail-wagging, is also at home here, as is the wren, which prefers the dense undergrowth along the riverbank. In the clear water, trout swim and can sometimes be seen from the bridges.
The Gilfenklamm gorge is a natural world full of life and energy – a place where nature’s wildness and beauty can still be felt in full.
