A breathtaking scenery
One of the most stirring natural sights in Alto Adige is the waterfall at Stanghe in Val Racines. Over the centuries, water has dug deep channels into the rock and white marble, reaching a depth of 15 m at certain points. Along the gorge, a walking path has been built that is enhanced with footbridges, steps and wooden bridges. With reflections that change colour from deep green to emerald green, depending on the sunlight, the Stanghe waterfall is a truly unforgettable natural sight.
Be sure to bring your camera and a good pair of shoes!
